Pricing
Every tier is the same software, through the same three faces — desktop app, command
line and MCP server. The only question is how big you want to go, and who it is for.
Questions people actually ask
Does the party end on day 31?
Not at all. Nothing you built goes away: workspaces, projects, scripts, distribution lists
and run history are all still there, and the app keeps running. Your free tier carries on
with 3 connections and 5 databases per run,
and Pro is there whenever you want the ceiling off. Nothing is deleted and nothing is held
hostage.
Do I need a credit card?
Never for Free, and not for the trial either. Verify an email address and you are in.
Do I have to sign in?
Once, yes. The app asks for a name and an email address and needs that address verified
before the first run — that is how we know who is using it, and it is the whole of what
registration does. After that it keeps working offline, including on a machine that never
reaches us again.
What does Pro add to Free?
Room to grow, and nothing else. There is no feature sitting behind the Pro wall — the
formatter, coverage reporting, the CLI and the MCP server are all in the free tier and stay
there. If 3 connections and 5 databases per
run cover your estate, the free tier is the whole product and you should enjoy it.
My company is over the threshold. Can I just buy Pro?
The threshold decides which licence fits you, rather than which limits you hit. Pro is for
individuals and organizations under 5 people and $100,000 annual revenue; at or above either
one the right licence is Enterprise, even when the capacity you need is identical. We would
rather put that on the pricing page than bury it in a clause.
So what does Enterprise add over Pro today?
Honestly: the right to use it at all, a licence issued to the organization rather than to a
person, seat management, the offline licence file, fleet deployment, and procurement that
works — purchase orders, invoicing, a real contract. Enterprise-specific capabilities
such as single sign-on, scheduling and audit export are on the roadmap and
are not shipped yet, so they are not in the table as though they were.
I am one DBA at a large bank. Which tier am I?
Enterprise. The threshold is about the organization the work is for, not how many people sit
near you. We would rather say that plainly than leave it ambiguous.
Our servers cannot reach the internet.
No problem. Enterprise licences are issued as a signed file that verifies entirely offline
— no call home, ever. One file dropped by IT licenses a whole fleet, and the same file
works on a CI agent that has no browser and nobody to sign in.
What do you collect?
Registration takes your name, email and organization. The app optionally reports an anonymous
install count so we know roughly how many people use it; it is disclosed on first run, has a
visible off switch, and never includes server names, connection strings or script content.
The full policy.
